Talk with JMU Fans About the Game
Decided to search out the James Madison message board. There is a thread going on about their team... at least a few of the posters seem pretty well informed:

Re: Talk with JMU Fans About the Game
"Nobody expected Portland and JMU to be in the Sweet 16"?
Half right.
And they know some key Pilots are missing. That's all right; there are some other Pilots who are currently in rich form. This season actually reminds of 2002 when the Pilots were home against Richmond, who pulled an upset to get to the third round. After a Sinclair hat trick the Pilots went to Stanford and won on penalties to go to the Final Four.
Just sayin'...

Can help but be amused a little. I hope the coach knows what awaits and its not neccesarily all about the players. At aleast NAU was ready for the environment.

One of the posters on that commented that the refs will be confused as to who to favor because neither team is from the ACC, Big 10, SEC, Big 12 or the Pac 10.
Aren't the refs appointed by the NCAA?

Re: Talk with JMU Fans About the Game
OK, I logged onto their board and warned them what to expect:
"Greetings from Portland,
"We have a very active women's soccer board out here. Check it out at http://www.pilotnation.net.
"For the record, only three Pilots are in Chile with the U-20 national team. There were four in the team pool, but one is injured. Our team played the entire conference schedule with minimal contribution from the now-missing ladies and compiled a perfect record.
"Our only loss this year was a 1-0 loss to UCLA in August. Our most impressive wins have been against defending national champ USC (1-0 at home), Florida (2-0 at home), Penn State (4-1 on the road), Rutgers (1-0 on the road), Washington (1-0 at home), and San Diego (4-1 on the road).
"We're all looking forward to your visit on Saturday. You'll be greeted by 4-5 thousand rabid and knowledgeable soccer fans, a raucous student section, a brilliant and gentlemanly coach, and a terrific team that controls the ball very well and knows what to do with it when they get into the attacking third.
"Cheers to all in Virginia and happy travels westward!"
Feel free to log on and add anything I forgot.

Nice! I posted on there too. They seem like a good group - I'm down with anyone who gives props to the Oregon Microbrews!

Yep... I reached 1500! I'm coming to get you, Geezer. Just like Rambo coming for Murdock.

OK... I just wasted 15 minutes trying to embed that damn clip. Normally it works every time, but I give up:
Anyway, I'm very proud of myself for that Rambo reference. I really am.

Grats Stoney; You indeed are among the venerable posters on this site. All at just 26. As they say in basketball, you are great at posting up. I enjoy how you find and raid the other teams fansites. It is always great fun and a good way to pass the time between games.

Yes, yes... I'll admit to the pwnage.
But here's the thing... I've posted plenty of videos in my day. For some reason, it just wasn't working for me earlier.
Annoying. Darn that Geezer... I'll never be as pretty as him. Geezer Geezer Geezer!
