Hey, Villans -- The Texas motto is "Hook 'em horns!" The Texas A&M chant, in response, is "Cut 'em off short!"

Think you guys could use that on Sunday?

And the A&M fight song:

So the last line is out of place, but it still works.

How about fans on the North Side: "Cut 'em off."

Fans on the South Side: "Short!"

Only three syllables, so that could work. Some of the boys wanted the crowd to spell out PILOTS tonight. They eventually saw that their plan, while admirable, was a little too complicated and they went back to the old standby.

Gotta give them a nod for creativity, though.

When dealing with the crowd on the geriatric side, you have to think of it as training that slightly addled but nevertheless cute golden retriever.

You know.... 50 tries of "sit, Ginger, sit" while the dog stares at the end of your down pointing finger....
