Who will shine? Empty Who will shine?

Sophie Schmidt has slowly stepped up the level of her play. I think we are about to see her at her best. She was tired after the Olympics but she knows this is the big time. She will deliver.

And Megan R has no more than 6 more games in her up and down college career. She will leave it all out on the field.

I predict that we will see Michelle Olivier step up and hit a new level in the playoffs; that Charney will start to pull the strings like a stockier version of Angie; and that Jessica Tsao will remind us of Stephanie Lopez overlapping down the sideline and popping over crosses to torment opposing defenses. And Korie and Kassi will knock down anyone and anything that comes close to them.

Bring it on!

Hard to disagree with any of those prognostications.

This team seems to have a knack for getting the crucial goal from a totally unexpected source (e.g., late-game winners by Jackman and Kremenski), so I won't be too surprised if it turns out to be someone totally unexpected who makes the key play.
