ESPNU ON CAMPUS

So ESPNU is going to be on campus November 2nd i believe and i have been asked to compile a list of the following. Here's the exact quote i got:


"If they could come up with a a couple of ideas (landmarks, a cheer, a tradition) on what best symbolizes what the University of Portland is all about, then get back to me I would greatly appreciate it. "


Definitely i would say the drum squad for a tradition. Too bad the bell tower isn't built yet. but any ideas you guys have would be great. thanks

seriously, to me UofP is the following

The Willamette River
the Docks under the Bluff
The Purple Pride Section including Villa Drum Squad
The little girls who get honored at the beginning of the games
The dome on Chiles Center
Sweet sweet Merlo

the dogpile.

I miss it

The long long line of kids waiting for autographs! ....And where'd they put the Real Futbol banner? Put that baby up again!
