Sound's like Rev likes the up and down court speed of Kramer over Brockman(He mentioned the matchup in a earlier podcast). From what I understand Kramer is one of the top three fastest Pilot's on the whole team in Full Court running drills.Substitute Stohl for Sikma, and Kramer for Hegarty for four guards. I think that's a speed and shooting lineup that could match with most of their opponnents. Hegarty, Robin, and Sikma, are excellant at set offense, rebounding, defensive lineups.

Ethan could always be inserted for BJ or Ravio on that lineup too imo.

We would all like to believe Big John is going to be like Bryant of Santa Clara. But the reality is I think the best opportunity for him will be when whe need him against Pomare,Foster-Gonzaga,Samhan,Bryant, for a big body, with Jasonn playing alot then too.We have to remember he's a freshman and the Major difference in College Ball and Prep School ball is DRAMATIC

Hasn't been mentioned on the board yet, but Rev didn't mention in the last podcast that Hegarty is/was on a leave from the team for personal reasons. That's following an injury that kept him out of the scrimmage.

Now, that could mean anything and I'm not concerned about it yet, but I think it's safe to say he hasn't had an ideal pre-season.

I expect to see him out on the court a bit, but he still has to get the conditioning in line... he will definitely contribute at some point, but not sure how much this season.

Later in the season we'll see others move in if any of these starters stumble. Stohl and Smuelders first off the bench if offense is needed. I will be interested to see which of the BIG men will demonstrate strong defensive skills; which is necessary to get more playing time in the middle.
IMO ..... this is the best 'top seven' that we've seen at UP in this decade !

Ito,Ravio,Neidermeyer,Sikma (Robin if he can't go),Knutson. TJ,Jarred,Smuelders first off bench. I'm betting TJ will split or play more minutes than Ito to get him ready for Isiah Thomas of Washington whom TJ can defence better than ITO.

Washington game Knutson guard Brockman, TJ vrs Thomas, Neidermeyer vrs last years Stanford transfer......Sikma---?, Ravio--?

I think the freshman and subs will see alot of minutes in 2nd half if Pilots play a good first half in tuneup for Huskies. Basketball
