Wow... we had nearly 50 people on this site, at 10 in the morning, talking about our women's soccer match. Absolutely incredible. Wish I could have been here to join in the fun!

no matchtracker. we were getting reports from text messages and an FSUfan who had a subscription....

And.. the post count is at 1414 as I write. Maybe we'd better stop posting this month so it's easier to break next month

I never dreamed we would almost double that on a Sunday morning in September...take a bow, Pilot Nation.

My family chooses to ignore everything Pilots. They not only won't go to games with me, whenever I talk about the team, there is no response at all 90% of the time.

So I just keep my "obsession" to meself!

The official tally for number of posts in September: 1,515! The previous high in November 2007 was 1,082! We obliterated the record!

It's still October 1 and this is post #70 for the month. Let's see, at that rate it would make 2,170 for the 31 days of the month. We can do it!

Maybe it's the official tally, but at midnight last night I checked the website and there were 8 posts credited to October, though none had been made.

That would make the unofficial total 1523, thereby meeting Stoney's dream of a prime number (this is true)

But then there's the famous lost day, so there is no telling the real number.....

Geezer, I thought it was discussed earlier, (tho not officially), that the clock on the stats is way off. I thought we figured at about noon on August 31, Sept posts started. The balancing point being, August 1st begin at noon on July 31st.

So if that's all true, and I'm not sure "noon" was determined to be the exact time, (no one figured it all out for sure), then at midnight on Sept 30 there would be October posts already begun.

I agree, the "lost day", mangles things up a bit...

Bottom line, I think we can all agree, we smashed the record. And we're going to do the same in Oct and Nov!!!!!!!!!

Truth be told - Were you abducted Geezer? That would account for several hundred missing posts...

Don't tell me the aliens read Pilot Nation???? Wow! And I was worried about opponents reading PN. (BTW - if you are an opponent trying to glean Pilot info, good luck here! We're just a bunch of wannabe's who Garrett laughs off like when he reads the comics!!!)
