It should be interesting, UW is definitely down right now, they still return Brockman and Pondexter along with a slew of guards that have never lived up the hype... And if he academically qualifies look out for Isaiah Thomas, the kid was a scoring dynamo out of Curtis HS in University Place, WA (~35 ppg), and after that went to an East coast prep school to get the grades up in addition to working on his game... That said it will be an interesting matchup and a Litmus test of sorts for both teams...

This is our home opener, I believe... and indeed at litmus test. We hung with UW for a long time last year at Hec Ed (Presented by B of A, or whatever its called now).... and weren't we without Ito at that point?

Playing at Chiles, with a much deeper & more experienced roster... I would like to think this is a very interesting game indeed.

Oh man, I would love to beat the Fuskies...

Just looked it up, Isaiah Thomas will be suiting up for the Huskies... Eek... The kid has literally unlimited range and hops to spare... heralded as the second coming of Nate Robinson... (Haha he's only 5'8" as well....) It should be interesting how Campbell and Co match up with him, and how our bigs handle the mammoth Brockman...

My prediction, someone wearing purple will win....

I'm too lazy to research it, so I'll ask: what's the overall record between UW and UP? I still remember losing at home to them because our timer didn't start the clock.

I'd love to get a victory over a Pac-10 team, any team. We have given way too many away to them over the years.
