Hermann Trophy Watch List

Post by PurpleGeezer on Wed Aug 08, 2007 12:53 pm

The preseason hype has started with the release of the NSCAA's herman trophy watch list.

There are three UP players on the list (same three as last year, I think).

Stephanie Lopez
Megan Rapinoe
Angie Woznuk

If one of them gets it, it'll be because UP won another college cup, so I'm rooting for them cheers

You can see the list at: http://www.nscaa.com/articles/20070808113254200.php
Next week, the preseason rankings--

He usually had in his mouth a short dudeen; but in an evil moment he put the dudeen, lighted, in the pocket among the powder. Mr. Lowry was an eccentric man.

As the season progressed last year, I was almost willing to bet the farm that Megan Rapinoe would get the Hermann Trophy. I'll just hope this year. Very Happy

The Herman Trophy is decided before the College Cup starts and I think they don't even take the playoffs into consideration.

Hmmm... no Enyeart? With Rapinoe taking up so much attention from other teams, I think Enyeart can really, really benefit. I think there's a good chance she could end up as the top scorer. Then again, Megan Rapinoe is so freaking good that I'm not sure anything can stop her from finding the back of the net.

Ah... can't wait for the season to start!
