Thought it would be good to "sticky" a topic about this weekend... a place for everyone to post information, plans, etc. for the men's tournament this weekend.

WCC "official" Tourney Central Page: LINK The WCC site has all the links to the gametrackers, results, brackets, etc., in one place.

The UP Men's team, as the #3 seed, plays the winner of the #6/#7 game on Saturday, 30 minutes after the 6pm game (so around 8:30pm).

The UP Alumni Office will be hosting pre-game Pilot Fan Fests at Brendan's Irish Pub, inside the Orleans Casino 2 hours prior to all UP men's & women's games. They are asking for RSVP's at wigingto@up.edu so they can plan for numbers; snacks will be provided, but you are on your own for drinks. Wink These are not alumni-exclusive, so I hope all fans in Purple will show up for some pre-game revelry and entertainment! Very Happy

The link to the Pilot Nation women's Tournament Central is here: LINK

GO PORTLAND!

FYI, I was just looking at hotel rates in Vegas for this weekend, and the rates at the Orleans have dropped further... I called up the Orleans and quoted what Expedia.com was showing for rates this weekend, and they dropped my reservation rates to match was Expedia was showing... they didnt even ask questions. I saved over $80 in about 3 minutes on the phone with them...

Look at that, I have already won money in Vegas and i'm not even there yet... Cool

GO PILOTS!

Any info on broadcasting the Saturday game? Looks like the Semifinal games are on ESNP2, and the championship game is on ESPN. Hope we're there!

Thanks, Geezer. Poor LMU, 3-27. I would need some Patron to follow that team.

Thanks, Geez. Looks like I'll be hooking the laptop up to the flatscreen on Saturday.

Is there a way to capture the streaming video feed on my Comcast DVR?

Usually, you use capture software to save to a hard drive, then play it to your TV, if it is equipped to be used as a monitor.

here's a short list of software - I make no recommendations.

"What happens in Vegas...is going out on the web." Wow, that is the best that Steven Sandberg from Gonzaga could come up with.

Anyone have any recommendations on good places to eat, things to do, etc??

My previous trips to Vegas havent really been long enough--or of the appropriate nature Wink --to explore much other than a few casinos on the strip...

"Appropriate"?? Does not compute... Haha I think there's an In-N-Out a mile away from the Orleans if you want to get your fix...

Aahh....just printed off my boarding pass, will be driving to Chicago after work and boarding the plane for VEGAS!!! I'm looking forward to cheering the piolts on to victory.

I prepared the wife and let her know that we'll either be upgrading houses when I come back, or moving back to our old dirt-cheap apartment complex...c'mon baby, daddy needs a new car!!

Well, I wouldn't get rid of the teal Probe, I would just be able to put it in the garage for the winter so my baby doesn't get rusted out. Then I can be the toast of the town when I bust out my pristine probe at the first hint of actual spring weather.
