That '76 classic will be one of the highlights of next year. Even if we lose, it will help the strength of schedule piece for the RPI.

Still working on the schedule. I guess it is a good sign that it has become a little tougher to find people to play us in the last 2 years.

Maybe we could schedule D3 Augustana College. They were willing to schedule the Zags next December 9. At the Kennel.

I didn't think that's what Mark Few had in mind when he said "anybody, anywhere" ..

I needed a new heel for my shoe so I decided to go to Morganville, which is what they called Shelbyville in those days. So I tied an onion to my belt, which was the style at the time. Now to take the ferry cost a nickel, and in those days, nickels had pictures of bumblebees on them. Give me five bees for a quarter you'd say. Now where were we, oh ya. The important thing was that I had an onion on my belt, which was the style at the time. They didn't have white onions because if the war. The only thing you could get was those big yellow ones...."

That would be a hilarious upset (Augustana over GU, of course).

NCAA-bound PSU needed a buzzer-beater to get by D3 Lewis & Clark two years ago. Neutral

here's the Augustana announcement

and an article from the Quad City Times which tells us that the Vikings are returning one starter from an 18-8 team.

Which, if by everything I've been reading about the draft combine, is all the Zags could be returning as well.... (well maybe 2, but Gray/Downs kind of traded starting back and forth)

Western Oregon beat a D-I school a few years back, I think. My memory is hazy... silent

About to be added as an addendum to NCAA recruiting regulation 345.32 - (z): Use of a PAK'nSAVE forbidden unless all competing schools also have access to PAK'nSAVE retail outlet telephones

The latest :
Biggest compliment of the summer...A coach made a point to tell me what a great "job" UP basketball is. He told me the opposite 3 years ago

Haha someone be sure to remind Rev that after another good season and the big schools start to come a knocking...

CoachReveno: Decided to "unfollow" Calipari (he won't miss me) and add a couple former UP players and some guy putting up Dalai Lama quotes. Much better.

Awwwkwaaaaaard..... And a very shrewd move on Rev's behalf...

CoachReveno

Isn't UP in OR? RT @blazersblog UM 68, UO 55 in Eugene. OR schools have lost to TAMUCC (OSU), TT (OSU), Sac State (OSU), UM (UO), UP (UO)

HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHHA Yes Rev, yes it is... I'm surprised he isn't re-tweeting something by Andy Katz. Poor form blazers, poor form...

Just watched a very good junior college practice in LA. Players got after it and coaches were teaching. Fun to watch.

I like the JC route to complement what we already have coming in for next year, it helps balance out the classes a little bit and gives you a player that theoretically should be physically ready to jump right in and contribute right away...
