Northwest Basketball?

Post by up7587 on Wed Feb 03, 2010 6:00 pm

Comcast Sports NW is promoting an upcoming WCC game they will be broadcasting as "Northwest basketball". The game: SMC vs. USF! I like that they are showing the WCC. But it cracks me up that they call a Bay Area rivalry a Northwest game. Suspect

Now to take the ferry cost a nickel, and in those days, nickels had pictures of bumblebees on them. Give me five bees for a quarter you'd say. Now where were we, oh ya. The important thing was that I had an onion on my belt, which was the style at the time. They didn't have white onions because if the war. The only thing you could get was those big yellow ones...."

Just so we're clear --

I consider the Russian River to be in the NorthWest.

Corona is popular with the Landscaping, and Construction Laborers down here. In addition it is a staple at ASU and AriZona. Because college BB sure isnt good down here so they continue to need more "rocket fuel" to attend the stinker Pac-10 games, lol.
