Possible he makes the Blazers roster, too early to tell. Only will extend him a training camp invite if he has a realistic shot at making the roster. They don't want to jerk him around. SBlazers are interested, they liked what they saw in him, and so did a lot of other teams. Pooh really helped himself a lot this summer... has a chance to make the league with the Blazers or somebody else.

Wouldn't surprise me. Not only did he hit a game-winning three pointer for the Cavs, but he made an incredible between-the-legs pass to JJ Hickson. (Which resulted in a lay up right in Matt Bouldin's face, I might add!)

Check out the video here:

He had 20 points and 7 assists in the game... now averaging over 16 points and nearly 7 assists. Awesome!!!

NCAA Tourney expanding... but only to 68!?

This is great news... while I am not a fan of further expansion of the tourney (in fact I would vote for moving it back to 64 teams), the NCAA elects a 68-team format instead of the 96 teams previously discussed.

I assume this means 4 "play-in" games on Tuesday, instead of 1. (Hey, how about making those play-in games be for the last 4 at large teams? If you win your conference auto-bid, you can bypass the play-in!?!) And how great will it be to have 4 networks carrying the games?!

New NCAA Tourney TV Deal

I didn't go in to this, BUT while CBS' coverage leaves something to be desired at times (like no ability to successfully show 2 games at once is annoying), I think the teaming up with Turner has a lot of potential. Giving 3 more networks they can show games on will let us all watch any game, and won't lock us in to whatever CBS decides regionally we deserve. I am concerned about Turner's coverage abilities though...

As much as I hate the pomposity of THE network and love the NCAA slapping ...

After attending the Oregon - washington annual shoot out game Saturday evening, came away with a very good feeling on Ryan's potential with the Pilots.

Am quite sure he will not play the post, but will certainly be on the front line, probably backing up Luke to start. Has very good footwork down low and good moves, as does Luke, but looks to be a little quicker tha n Luke. Has an outside shot at least to 15 - 17 ft.

Several lengthy outlet passes that were on nthe mark.
