We only came in second by 7 points last year. It'd be tough, but we can beat Oregon!

I'm excited to see how our freshman do! Also, Alfred was runner up to Kinsella last year and has the potential to bring the individual title back to Portland this year!

I just checked out the results..interesting that we were two points behind Oregon but our average finish was slightly faster (.35 seconds).

Does anyone know if they guys that ran are our top guys that will potentially run at nationals? My guess would be yes, but I'm not sure.

Pretty sure this was our full A squad. Too bad we just got nipped by whOregon. Didn't think BYU would be in contention.

Yeah, wow and with Kipchumba as only a soph taking 6th? Ridiculous, as soon as they can tighten up the next 4 runners, this team is going to be a force to be reckoned with for the next 3 years...

I have a friend on the team, he said that alfred fell on the home stretch and was in contention to win before the fall, he recovered and was about in 20th before moving back up to 6th. Also stated was that tommy didn't have his best race. It seemed like any of the top four teams could have come out on top in this one. Overall an impressive early result for us

What's the redshirt situation? Are Osoro and Dunbar participating now?

They burned their redshirts at Bill Dellinger, which I think is fine. We'll have a stronger team with those guys running this year!

Love the confidence shown by not only our top runners, but by the freshmen also. Great early season race.
